Everything Everything

Everything, Everything is one of the few every-day-life books that I could accept in my life as a reader. I couldn't let the book down until I finished it. And thanks to it, I found the courage to start this very blog!
This is the story of Madeline Wittier, a girl who has SCID (Severe Combined, Immunodeficiency- a rare form of blood disease -https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Severe_combined_immunodeficiency) Poor Maddy is held on " house arrest" because of her disease, therefor she has never left her home. Her life used to be very simple: everyday, her mother, Dr. Wittier, and her nurse, Carla, are taking care of her - a life spent  on worrying about whether you will make it to the next day or not. 18 years went by this way- and would have continued to go so- until a new neighbour moved in. The handsome, mysterious, untouchable Olly. The two soon became (Internet) friends, and their relationship kept growing with every passing moment. They fell in love and Maddy realised her life can't be called one if she wouldn't have adventure, memories with her loved ones and a taste of freedom. So she runs away with Olly to Hawaii to live the most amazing moments of her life. But her illness intervenes. She has a huge outburst and ends up on a hospital bed. Her heart can't handle the pressure and she turns Olly away..... A few weeks pass, and he moves to New York with his family. But it turns out Madeline wasn't actually ill!(talk about a plot twist😛) This time she really steps in and takes the lead of her life from her mother. They reunite and have a happy ever after.
Touching book, can't say otherwise. The illustrations within the book make it even better, constantly reminding us how fragile really is life. I can comment to this topic is that it is both heartwarming and heartbreaking to have lived such a twisted story.

Greetings!

Hello, my little bookworms! Welcome to my blog!
So this is actually my first time blogging, so it might take a while for me to adapt to it. Please, be patient!
The main idea of this blog was to be able to share our opinions about different books, making it easier for readers to choose their next prey and to form a book club, to join people so they won't have to face the death of a fictional character alone;) After all, they say that a fandom, is a family, and family means no one gets to stay alone in a mental institute.
We need to keep some ground rules first:
1. I will not allow any of the people here to feel inferior or unappreciated. Be nice to everyone! We are people after all.
2. If you don't have anything nice to say, you'd better not say anything at all. Too many people are already feeling bad for being bullied. Let's not make it worse for them. I want to provide a space where all of us can have a nice time and maybe make some friends.
3.Everyone can have an opinion! It's not necessarily that yours is the same as somebody else's. Please respect that.
4.Be decent! Do not, under any circumstances, post pictures, statuses or any information that isn't proper for an under age. Remember, this is an oasis, not a battle field. And anyone is welcome.
5.If someone is being harassed and I don't notice, please contact me immediately or report the bully.
That's all I've got for now. We'll discuss the development of this blog in time.
Please, if you have any suggestions, any wishes, do not hesitate to let me know! I'll do my best to keep you all safe and happy.
